Test Engineer

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for someone to join a dynamic, fast moving company. You will ideally have relevant test experience within an electronic manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities will be: -

• Testing and fault analysis of electronic sub assemblies to component level.
• Understanding and conforming to the required documentation procedures in accordance with the quality plan or manual
• Producing test results or reports as required by the test specification for the items being tested.
• Ensuring that all functional defects on products undergoing tests are documented in sufficient detail to enable meaningful analysis and feedback to take place.
• To be responsible for batch testing including liaising with the Operations manager on all problems or queries relating to technical and procedural procedures
• To assume such responsibilities as may be necessary to promote the effective running of the department.
• To rework both leaded and surface mount components

Skills required

• Previous experience in electronics essential
• Must be able to work as part of a team to reach tight deadlines.
• Self-motivated
• Ability to use own initiative
• Attention to detail
• Good communication skills
